Well it has been a long time since i have wrote a blog on this site. At one point i was having a really hard time on my journey. Starting drinking very alot. I fell out with alot of good friends because my temper got worse.
But good news i am back on the road again woohoo...
but i left the church i was in for 7 years, and i am now in a presby family church...
one thing i have noticed about this church is that they have all different church familys in this one church, baptists, presbys, elim etc....
people ask me one question...and i love to answer them with a intresting answer.....
when did you come to faith in christ?
answer.....i ask Jesus to save me when i was 3 BUT i didnt come to understand the ways of Jesus until the past couple of years.
this year has been really intresting, i have come across a group within the family of God called the emergent village....i have been looking into it for a while now, trying to see if they are of God, testing it with the bible...there has been so-called christians calling the likes of rob bell, brian mclaren and tony jones and doug pagitt heretics...i am sorry to say but the ones calling these brothers of christ heretics are the heretics themselves...
i come from northern ireland...and for me i have been brought up in a church which calls people heretics all the time, and when something fresh and sort of new comes to the door they tell them to piss off and go back to america...
well i am sick of this.....church has got boring.....i LOVE Jesus and i LOVE the Church but i dislike the way it is run....it is getting tore apart by man made rules....they forget it is about the Worship of Jesus and our Father God...instead it is all about us and "look at me i am on stage"
Where is the Love, Respect, the Grace, Meekness, Compassion, Gentleness etc....
WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THE TRUE WAYS OF WORSHIP
Art, Music, Drama...anything that Brings Glory back to God
We Need to Love God and Show the Kingdom of God to those who have not Yet Felt this Love.....
Arise Church instead of being Dead!!!!
